Position: Temporary Maintenance Technician (Reidsville, NC)

Temporary Maintenance Technician – Reidsville, NC

Job Summary

Responsible for daily maintenance of the Penn 4-H Center property and facilities, including repair of cabins, classrooms, and other common areas, as well as grounds maintenance such as mowing and leaf blowing. Must follow state risk management policies, NCSU regulations, and center guidelines. Requires schedule flexibility.

Schedule & Work Hours

Hours and days vary per week based on group activities on site. Supervisor will provide a schedule.

Compensation

Anticipated hourly rate: $17.50–$20.00.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience/

Education:

Combination of training and experience required to perform job duties.

Required Skills:

Positive attitude, professionalism, ability to work independently & follow directions.

Preferred Experience:

Groundskeeping (mowing, trimming, leaf blowing) and/or skilled trades (plumbing, carpentry, electrical).

Required License:
Valid driver’s license (NC). Commercial Driver’s License not required.
