Position Overview

-Temporary Environmental Services at NC State (4:00 AM - 12:30 PM)
Raleigh, NC | Temporary, 11-month appointment | 40 hours per week
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities- Perform routine manual housekeeping work across campus.
- Clean, mop, scrub, sweep, and vacuum floors, as well as stairwells and hallways.
- Clean lavatories, wash windows, move furniture to thoroughly clean areas, and collect and remove trash.
- Shift: 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM, Monday–Friday.
- 40 hours per week.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in housekeeping or equivalent training/experience.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to perform medium to heavy physical work and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reading, writing, and following written and oral instructions in English.
- Physical ability to walk, bend, stoop, lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Special certifications may be required for some positions.
- Preferred: 6+ months professional cleaning experience.
