Position Overview

UTS
-Temporary Environmental Services at NC State (4:00 AM - 12:30 PM)

Raleigh, NC | Temporary, 11-month appointment | 40 hours per week

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine manual housekeeping work across campus.
  • Clean, mop, scrub, sweep, and vacuum floors, as well as stairwells and hallways.
  • Clean lavatories, wash windows, move furniture to thoroughly clean areas, and collect and remove trash.
Shift Information
  • Shift: 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM, Monday–Friday.
  • 40 hours per week.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in housekeeping or equivalent training/experience.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to perform medium to heavy physical work and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Reading, writing, and following written and oral instructions in English.
  • Physical ability to walk, bend, stoop, lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Special certifications may be required for some positions.
  • Preferred: 6+ months professional cleaning experience.
