Maintenance Tech

Schedule: On-Site | On-Call Rotation Required

About the Position

We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Tech to help maintain our apartment community. Responsibilities include apartment turns, work orders, preventive maintenance, and general repairs. Previous apartment, make-ready, or general maintenance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turns, including painting, touch-ups, minor repairs, and unit preparation
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs
• Inspect vacant units and identify needed repairs or replacements
• Complete work orders and assist with preventive maintenance
• Ensure apartments meet quality and safety standards before move-in
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist the maintenance and property management teams as needed
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of apartment, make-ready, or general maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repairs
• HVAC, CPO, EPA certifications preferred, but not required
• CMMS or maintenance work-order system experience is a plus
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
• $21.00 per hour
