Industrial Maintenance Project Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY The Industrial Maintenance Project Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance activities, equipment projects, shutdowns, and related work. The position coordinates schedules, materials, contractors, work readiness, CMMS documentation, and communication among Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and other supporting departments. Working independently with general supervision, the role monitors assigned activities, identifies scheduling or readiness issues, communicates changes and concerns, and supports timely, safe, and compliant maintenance execution.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Coordinate assigned maintenance activities, equipment projects, shutdown work, and installations in accordance with established schedules, priorities, procedures, and direction from Maintenance leadership.
· Maintain schedules, action-item lists, readiness trackers, material status, contractor activities, and other information necessary to support maintenance and project execution.
· Coordinate activities and communicate status, requirements, and schedule changes among Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Quality Assurance, EHS, Purchasing, Warehouse, contractors, and other stakeholders.
· Monitor scheduled maintenance and project activities; identify delays, resource conflicts, missing prerequisites, or other execution issues and coordinate resolution or escalate as appropriate.
· Coordinate work readiness, including equipment and area availability, materials, tools, contractors, permits, access requirements, production handoffs, and required documentation.
· Create, update, route, and administratively close work orders in the CMMS; review records for completeness and follow up on missing or inaccurate information.
· Coordinate contractor and vendor activities, including scheduling, site access, job walks, required documentation, work readiness, progress tracking, and collection of completion records.
· Support maintenance and project activities in accordance with GMP requirements, site procedures, safety standards, and applicable Engineering, Quality, and EHS requirements.
· Prepare and maintain maintenance and project status reports, schedules, dashboards, action lists, performance measures, and closeout documentation; communicate status and outstanding issues to appropriate stakeholders.
· Identify recurring coordination, documentation, scheduling, or work-readiness issues and provide recommendations to improve maintenance workflow, CMMS accuracy, contractor coordination, and schedule execution.
· Adhere to all company SHE policies and procedures, actively participate in hazard identification and environmental risk reduction, and report all incidents, nonconformities, and potential hazards to management to support a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace.
· May be required to utilize and wear a variety of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
· May perform other duties and support department as assigned.
