Mechanic, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Schedule

Full‑time, day shift, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Develop, oversee, and perform a scheduled preventive maintenance program on all equipment within the entire hospital facilities to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with established requirements.

• Establish and modify the preventive maintenance program for new and discontinued equipment.
• Schedule all preventive maintenance activities.
• Oversee record keeping and reporting for all equipment maintenance.
• Perform general maintenance mechanic functions and related duties.
• Inspect areas during duties, identify issues, sign and fill out work tickets, and turn them in daily.

• Education: Associate's degree or equivalent specialized field knowledge (e.g., HVAC, pipe fitting, engineering).
• Experience: 5–7 years of maintenance experience, including as a preventive maintenance mechanic or maintenance mechanic; at least three years in a mechanical trade acceptable.
• Licenses/Certifications: Full Maryland Driver's license and good driving record.
• Physical: Ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently to move objects.
