Mechanic, Maintenance​/Cleaning

About The Role

• Develops oversees and performs a scheduled preventive maintenance program on all equipment within the entire Hospital facilities to insure safety, reliability, and compliance with established requirements.

• Establishes preventative maintenance program for new equipment and modifies when equipment has been discontinued.
• Schedules all preventative maintenance.
• Oversees record keeping and reporting of the information pertaining to all equipment for entire preventative maintenance program.
• Performs the general maintenance mechanic functions and all related duties.
• Inspects areas of responsibility during performance of duties and identifies issues to the appropriate person. Signs and fills out work tickets completely and turns in daily.

• Education:
  
  AA degree preferred;
  Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree.
• Experience:
  
  5-7 years of maintenance experience (e.g., PM Mechanic, maintenance mechanic, HVAC, pipe fitting, engineering).
• Licenses/Certifications:
  
  Full Maryland Driver's license and good driving record.
• Physical:
  Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects.
