Grounds Mechanic

Life Bridge Health seeks a Grounds Mechanic to support safe, attractive outdoor environments across our Maryland healthcare campuses. In this role, you will inspect, maintain, and repair grounds equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and snow removal machinery, while performing routine landscaping, lawn care, and seasonal tasks. You will ensure equipment reliability, follow safety and environmental standards, and help maintain clean, welcoming grounds that reflect our commitment to compassionate care, community well-being, and a high-quality healing environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair grounds maintenance equipment and small engines
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and safety checks on tools and machinery
• Maintain lawns, landscaping, walkways, and outdoor hospital areas
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and order or replace parts as needed
• Operate mowers, trimmers, snow removal and landscaping equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and equipment records
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and facility regulations
• Support seasonal grounds tasks such as snow and ice removal
