Job Title and Compensation
Custodian I (Evening) - Part-time. Salary range: $15.92 per hour. Department:
Custodial Services.
- Perform routine cleaning duties in campus buildings, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and changing light bulbs.
- Maintain restrooms: clean walls, sinks, fixtures, toilets, and mirrors. Replenish towels, tissues, and soap dispensers.
- Empty garbage receptacles and perform recycling duties when necessary.
- Clean entrances to buildings, including glass on entrance doors and exterior areas.
- Police areas around buildings for litter.
- Complete work orders assigned by the Custodial Supervisor, assisting day‑staff with set‑ups for special events and college activities.
- Clear snow and ice from entrance ways, walkways, patios, and steps; shovel or sweep and apply calcium chloride.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school graduate or equivalent desirable.
- 0-6 months experience in custodial maintenance.
- Monday-Thursday: 9:30 pm - 1:30 am.
- Friday: 9:30 pm - 1:00 am.
