As a Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor you are critical to ensuring the facility and facility grounds are maintained in a clean, odor free and safe manner. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara St. Cloud by overseeing and supervising all aspects of the housekeeping department. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

• Supervising Environmental Services Department (Housekeeping and Laundry)

• Creating Schedules for employees and ensuring staffing needs are met

• Ensuring paperwork is completed and accurately in place

• Ordering supplies and stocking supplies

• Resident Room moves and deep cleans

• Utilizing Floor Scrubbing Machine

• Hiring and training new employees within the department

• Assistant to the Maintenance Director - assist with facility Maintenance Needs and repairs as requested.

• Must be able to use a computer for Microsoft Office programs, email, and web based platforms for facility specific sites.

• Driving the company vehicle - must be approved through company insurance.

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of experience working in a housekeeping supervisory role in a healthcare setting. Two (2) years of Housekeeping Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
