Maintenance Technician

Piper Companies is seeking a first-shift Maintenance Technician to join a growing biotechnology manufacturing organization in Raritan, NJ
. The Maintenance Technician will support maintenance and reliability efforts for critical manufacturing equipment in a regulated cGMP cleanroom environment, ensuring uptime, compliance, and operational excellence.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on processing and manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automated systems.
• Complete maintenance documentation and equipment release activities in compliance with cGMP standards.
• Utilize CMMS to manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and records.
• Support equipment reliability, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• 5+ years of maintenance experience.
• Experience maintaining processing or manufacturing equipment required.
• cGMP biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, or similar regulated industry experience preferred.
• Experience working in cleanroom environments under aseptic conditions.
• Experience with CMMS or similar maintenance management systems.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and maintenance documentation.
• Electrical and/or automation experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

• Salary range: $40-43/hr
• 6-Month Contract Opportunity
