Prodigy Property Management is seeking a reliable, skilled Maintenance Technician who is motivated, takes initiative, and thrives working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
About the RoleAs a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring our properties remain safe, functional, and appealing. You'll perform hands-on maintenance across multiple residential properties in the Rathdrum and Post Falls area, taking ownership of work quality and time management.
What You'll DoPerform general maintenance and repairs on building interiors and exteriors, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC-related tasks.
Respond promptly to work orders and complete them efficiently with minimal supervision.
Keep properties, common areas, and parking lots clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Assist with maintaining strong curb appeal-ensuring properties are welcoming and resident-ready.
Manage and organize tools, materials, and maintenance inventory at the shop and on-site.
Prepare and turn vacant units quickly and thoroughly, typically within three days.
Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
You're the right fit if you're hardworking, resourceful, and detail-oriented. You take pride in craftsmanship, enjoy problem-solving, and can balance teamwork with independence. Experience in property maintenance, building repair, or a related trade is preferred.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
Ability to travel between multiple property sites
Prior maintenance or skilled trade experience (preferred but not required)
