Primary Objective

Support the maintenance of equipment and the facility, ensuring all machinery and systems operate efficiently and safely. This includes assisting with day-to-day maintenance activities, performing preventative maintenance, restoring and rebuilding equipment, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining a safe work environment by following all relevant standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assists in the completion of day-to-day activities involving the maintenance of equipment and building/facility.
  • Will assist third-party contractors.
  • Performs tasks deemed necessary by preventative maintenance schedule for applicable equipment and machinery.
  • Restore and rebuild used equipment as needed for manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshoot problematic systems and machinery.
  • Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal codes and regulations including all site safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Experience Required

High School Diploma, 5 years of maintenance experience in a factory setting. Proficient in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fabrication. Demonstrated proficiency with hand and power tools. Ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus. Rubber and plastic industry background preferred. Certified or able to complete OSHA General Industry 10-hour certification. Certified or able to complete NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace certification.
