Surface Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor; title

This a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Position. This is a Temporary Promotion for a WS-5801-10 SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1290000 and is part of the MO Field Maintenance Shop 1.

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:
Selected candidate must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Army National Guard. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion). Maximum Military Grade - 1LT (O-2) Minimum Military Grade - CW2 (W-2) with date of rank on or after 07 August 2024 GENERAL

EXPERIENCE:

Must possess experience or training which demonstrates your ability to organize assignments for subordinates, estimate material and manpower needed for specific jobs; explain manuals and work procedures; and prepare production records, work records and reports. WS-10 SPECIALIZED

EXPERIENCE:

Must possess specialized experience that demonstrates your ability to plan and organize work assignments for a repair function; review work requirements and establish priorities to meet deadlines; provide a knowledge of the various lines of work performed by the repair function and associated support organizations; and dealt effectively with other people. Experience adapting existing equipment and techniques to new situations. Experience supervising through subordinate supervisors, or the potential to perform such duties as evidenced by the ability to communicate.

Experience applying human relations techniques using a knowledge of general supervisory concepts; and a knowledge of shop processes.
