This position plays an important role in keeping hospital buildings clean, orderly, and safe for everyone. The work focuses on routine cleaning tasks across many areas of the facility. As a Custodial Worker 1, you will perform the following duties:

• Facility Cleaning:
  Clean patient areas, restrooms, hallways, offices, and other assigned spaces
• Floor Care:
  Strip, wax, sweep, mop, and maintain floors of various types
• Equipment Use:
  Operate, clean, and maintain housekeeping tools and equipment
• High and Low Cleaning:
  Clean walls, windows, ceilings, vents, curtains, and blinds as needed
• Outdoor Upkeep:
  Sweep entryways and gazebos and remove trash from outdoor areas
• Linen Handling:
  Unpack, sort, and distribute linens to designated locations

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Sunday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch. Your schedule will include rotating holidays and weekends; you will work approximately every fourth weekend with designated days off during the week. This schedule may change based on operational needs.
