This position supervises custodial staff to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment throughout Warren State Hospital. Your primary duties will focus on organizing work, training staff, and ensuring that cleaning standards are met.

• Plan Work:
  Develop schedules, prioritize projects, and organize daily tasks for staff
• Inspect Areas:
  Review cleaning work and ensure quality standards are met
• Train Staff:
  Teach employees proper cleaning methods, equipment use, and safety rules
• Manage Records:
  Maintain time records, evaluations, and documentation for staff
• Order Supplies:
  Request materials and report needed repairs within assigned areas
• Assist Crew:
  Help with physical tasks such as ladder work, washing surfaces, and equipment setup

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Travel and overtime as needed.
• Telework:
  You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary:
  In some cases, the starting salary may be non‑negotiable.

• One year as a Custodial Worker 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Two years of experience performing custodial work.

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
• Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
