The Janitor plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of commercial buildings and surrounding grounds. This position ensures that all facilities are hygienic, orderly, and presentable to employees, clients, and visitors by performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks. The role involves operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals safely. Additionally, the Janitor is responsible for adhering to safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure environment for all building occupants.

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work within commercial buildings.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy weights and standing for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment operation.

• Perform daily janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing restrooms and common areas within commercial buildings.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuum cleaners, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals and supplies in compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
• Lift and carry heavy objects safely, including furniture and equipment, to facilitate cleaning and maintenance activities.
• Follow all safety protocols to minimize hazards and ensure a safe working environment for self and others.
