Key Responsibilities- Directly lead and work along with a crew of cabling/telecommunication technicians.
- Layout work and ensure equipment and information are on site to meet construction schedules and deadlines.
- Provide hands‑on technical and administrative direction while supervising large crews.
- Lead small to large projects and coordinate with customer representatives.
- Self‑motivated, positive approach, professional, and able to develop and implement project process improvements.
- Promote company culture and mission to employees, vendors, clients and partners.
- Act as the company liaison for interface with customer representatives.
- Proven problem‑solving, critical thinking, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Able to work at heights, off a ladder and in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds.
- Able to see and distinguish different colors, read small print and hear & recognize audible signals such as dial tones.
- Travel within branch or regional territory as needed.
- High School diploma or GED equivalency.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in telecommunications or related technical field.
- Minimum of six (6) months supervisory or managerial experience.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and other project documents; understanding specifications, reporting and quality requirements.
- Knowledge of universal communications color codes.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
- Meet company minimum driving standards.
USD $32.00/Hr. – USD $45.00/Hr.
Additional RequirementsMust possess BICSI certification. Must successfully pass a drug test, MVR, and criminal history check.
