Your Role with the Company

As the Assistant Superintendent at a family-owned surface mining operation, you will lead a skilled maintenance team dedicated to maximizing the reliability and performance of rock crushing equipment, including crushers, screens, and conveyors. Your hands-on mechanical expertise, strong leadership, and unwavering commitment to safety will be key to driving operational excellence in a demanding industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Oversight: Supervise and perform preventative and corrective maintenance on crushing plant equipment, including jaw crushers, cone crushers, screens, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.

Team Leadership: Lead a team of 1-4 maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, providing training, and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.

Equipment Inspections: Conduct daily inspections of equipment to identify potential issues, ensure proper lubrication, and maintain operational reliability.

Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and perform or oversee repairs to minimize downtime.
