Facilities Maintenance Technician - Talent Zok
OverviewWe are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support our Facilities Management team under the Director of Finance. This immediate opening is located in Redlands, CA. The role requires hands‑on experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, janitorial maintenance, and general facility support, along with courier responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, janitorial tasks).
- Maintain the company fleet of vehicles, including routine inspections, cleaning, and scheduling service or repairs.
- Serve as a courier, delivering documents, packages, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with moving and arranging furniture during office relocations or reconfigurations.
- Support the setup of new office spaces, including assembling furniture, installing equipment, and ensuring functional work spaces.
- Assist with obtaining business licenses, permits, and other regulatory documentation.
- Coordinate with multiple property managers, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth facility operations.
- Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and request replacements as needed.
- Respond promptly to facility‑related issues and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, courier deliveries, and vehicle upkeep.
- Seasonal decorating for facilities.
- Coordination and planning of special events.
- Generate memos, emails and reports when appropriate.
- Respond to questions and requests for information.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of supply room and exterior utility room.
- 1–3+ years of commercial maintenance technician experience.
- Valid CA driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proficient data entry and typing skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Detail‑oriented and comfortable working in a fast‑paced office environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Good decision‑making, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Creatively aesthetic sense.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Good attendance record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to respond to emergency maintenance requests and assist with diverse operational tasks.
- Dependable vehicle.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move up to 75 lbs.
Salary: $20–25 per hour.
