Custodian Maintenance Worker I
Location:
Redmond, OR
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, April
- September 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm / October
- March 5:00 am - 1:30 pm Pay: $22.09 - $25.58
The Custodian Maintenance Worker I plays a key role in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming City facilities. This position performs custodial duties, minor maintenance tasks, and operates City vehicles to support daily operations across multiple buildings in Redmond.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Performing Custodial Duties — cleaning, sanitizing, restocking, and maintaining facility appearance.
- Minor Maintenance Tasks — basic repairs, upkeep, and facility support.
- Operating City Vehicles (Ford F-150)— safe and responsible travel between City buildings.
- Clean & Well-Maintained Facilities — ensuring spaces are safe, orderly, and ready for public use.
- Efficient Minor Maintenance — addressing small issues before they become major problems.
- Safe & Accessible Walkways — clearing debris, snow, and hazards.
- Reliable Use of City Vehicles — following all safety and operational guidelines.
- Positive Organizational Culture — contributing to a respectful, team-oriented environment.
- Valid driver's license
- At least 12 months of verifiable commercial custodial experience
- Familiarity with custodial supplies, materials, and equipment
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices
