About the RoleAs a CBRE Non-CDL Commercial Driver, you will provide transportation as requested by the business. This includes picking up and delivering materials or individuals to a specified location.
This job is part of the Workplace Experience function. They are responsible for providing world-class customer service to the clients and visitors of a designated building.
What You’ll DoProvide world-class transportation and customer service to office personnel, visitors, and clients.
Keep travel logs and service records as required.
Maintain a clean vehicle and make minor repairs as needed. May perform miscellaneous errands.
Train and mentor new and current peers on duties and procedures.
Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisors.
Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience. Valid driver’s license required.
Fulfill the physical requirements associated with this role. This includes stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders. Must be able to lift or carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Non-CDL Commercial Driver position is $21.63 per hour and the maximum salary for the position is $25.50 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
