Custodial Rovers will work under the direction of the Custodial Supervisor(s) and perform custodial activities during day or night shifts at assigned Lake Washington School District facilities. Responsibilities include sanitation, maintenance, safety, comfort, and security of school or district buildings to create and maintain a safe and pleasant environment for students and staff.
Responsibilities- Work flexible hours on day or night shift.
- Communicate with District and site administrators regarding care, cleaning and maintenance of school facilities.
- Perform custodial activities to maintain building, office space and grounds.
- High school diploma, G.E.D. or related work experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Post-employment physical required.
- Pass criminal background check.
The job involves walking (65%), standing (20%) and sitting (15%). Occasionally sit, lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. Frequently lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs. and perform repetitive actions. On an occasional basis exposure to unprotected heights, dust, fumes, gases, commercial-strength chemicals, temperature/humidity changes, and moving machinery.
