Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Worker
A homegrown, Redmond-based operation designs and builds high-end laser systems that let people see, aim, and operate in total darkness—used by military, law enforcement, and aerospace teams around the world hires for its facilities maintenance team.
Responsibilities- Perform general facilities maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the building remains safe, functional, and well-presented.
- Assist with adjusting and maintaining building water systems, including tasks such as turning up water pressure and addressing related issues.
- Repair and maintain fixtures and equipment, including items such as water fountains and other facility appliances.
- Support basic electrical and plumbing repairs under appropriate guidance and within skill level.
- Organize and maintain storage areas, including seasonal items such as holiday decorations, to keep the facility orderly and efficient.
- Inspect facility areas regularly, identify maintenance needs, and report or address issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the existing facilities team member to complete assigned projects and respond to maintenance requests.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines while using tools, equipment, and materials to complete maintenance tasks.
- Previous facilities maintenance or maintenance technician experience.
- Hands‑on experience with facilities repair and general building maintenance.
Shift Times: 6am or 7am – 2:30pm or 3:30pm
Job Type & LocationContract to Hire, Redmond, WA.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $30.00 – $30.00 per hour.
