Engineer II - Facilities & Maintenance Marriott International, Inc. seeks an Engineer II to support property facilities in the Hospitality & Travel industry. This role performs preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient hotel operations. You'll respond to guest and staff service requests, troubleshoot equipment issues, assist with renovations, maintain detailed logs, and uphold brand standards.

Collaborating with a diverse team, you will champion Marriott's culture of people-first service, integrity, and continuous improvement while supporting a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests and service tickets
  • Troubleshoot and repair building equipment, fixtures, and life-safety systems
  • Conduct routine inspections of guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment records
  • Support small renovations, installations, and capital improvement projects
  • Follow safety procedures, codes, and brand standards at all times
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed for specialized work
  • Monitor building automation and energy systems for optimal performance
  • Collaborate with hotel operations teams to minimize downtime and guest impact
