* Position Summary:

** Seeking a talented
** Facilities Technician II,
** capable of performing various types of maintenance and repair activities. This person will be responsible for general office maintenance work. The general maintenance includes, but is not limited to moving furniture, repair of building equipment, ordering office supplies, hanging whiteboards, etc. Reports to the Sr Manager of Facilities.
*
* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*** General maintenance of office
* Handling of the hazmat waste
* Set up the kitchen every morning
* Record and inspect generators weekly
* Inspect fire extinguishers once a month
* Inspect eye wash and showers weekly
* Ordering office supplies
* Ergonomic Assessment
* Open to accepting new task /project as needed
* Vendor management
* Office move, add, and change coordination
* Experience with BMS
* Uses power tools, calibration equipment, and other small hand tools to repair equipment
* Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems
* Be able to handle overtime tasks assigned and on call for emergencies
* Good communication skills and detail oriented
* Minimum 3-4 years of facility work experience
* Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer service requests as assigned

* Qualifications:

*** High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent of experience required
* Five years of related experience and/or training preferred
* Demonstrates a strong work ethic, Ability to multitask
* Good attention to detail and delivers top quality work
* Flexible and adapts to change positively
* Strong communication skills, Team player
* Experience with desktop office applications (i.e. MS Office suite)
* Experience working in the Life Science domain a plus
** Hybrid Work Model:
**** This section is applicable to onsite employees who are eligible for hybrid work location as specified by management and related policies.  Guardant has defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. ** The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. This range does not include benefits or, if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity.
