Responsibilities
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing classrooms.
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing restrooms.
- Disinfect and wipe down various surfaces.
- Restock hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes in classrooms and common areas.
- Vacuum floors using a backpack or upright vacuum.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Take out trash.
- Walking or standing for significant periods.
- Pushing and/or pulling.
- Exert 20–50 pounds of force occasionally, 10–25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly, to move objects.
- Work with hazardous building materials including asbestos, solvents, and cleaning chemicals.
- Increased exposure to germs.
- Exposure to hot and cold temperatures when working outside.
- Must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno.
- Must be able to work through winter and summer breaks.
- Must be dependable, reliable, thorough, motivated, and detail‑oriented.
- Must be able to work as a member of a team and follow instructions.
During Semester:
Up to 25 hours a week.
During Breaks:
Up to 40 hours a week.
Shifts will be scheduled Monday through Friday, from 6:00am to 10:00am. This is subject to change based on organizational needs.
CompensationGrade:
