Janitorial Program Coordinator; temp

Job Description

This is a temporary role with strong potential to convert to a full‑time position based on performance. You'll be on the ground every day, directly overseeing our third‑party janitorial vendor across manufacturing facilities, ensuring work is done right, on time, and to company standards. This is a hands‑on, high‑visibility role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, isn't afraid to hold vendors accountable, and takes pride in keeping world‑class facilities running cleanly and efficiently.

Pay $35 an hour

• Serve as the primary on‑site point of contact for our third‑party janitorial vendor, communicating daily priorities, expectations, and performance standards
• Conduct regular walk‑throughs across facilities to inspect work quality, identify gaps, and drive immediate corrective action with the vendor
• Monitor vendor staff task assignments and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage across all areas and shifts
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and hold the vendor accountable to service‑level expectations
• Partner with internal stakeholders and facility managers to address emerging needs and ensure janitorial services align with site operations
• Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and working with the vendor to implement standardized solutions

• 2+ years of experience in janitorial or hospitality services
• 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience, with a track record of holding teams and vendors accountable
• Strong communication skills – able to clearly direct vendor teams, elevate issues, and report to internal stakeholders
• Comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities across multiple sites
• A demonstrated ability to take initiative, adapt quickly, and thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
