JOB SUMMARY

To clean, maintain and prepare the extrusion tooling to the required standard for production.

PRIMARY DUTIES

Clean and inspect extrusion tooling (Components) according to VEKA Policy/Procedures

Disassemble extrusion tooling and insure proper assembly

Perform Maintenance on extrusion tooling as directed

Disassemble purged-in dies

Polish die, templates, and calibration as needed

Communicate wear and damage to immediate supervisor

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Operate Reach truck as needed

SECONDARY DUTIES

Assist supervision and tooling maintenance personnel.

All other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Mechanical Aptitude, Oral Communication, and Accuracy. Safety and Quality oriented.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

GED, High School Education, Trade school preferred, or Previous Experience
