Maintenance Assistant Part Time

Department: Maintenance - A Schedule: Part‑Time; able to be evening and weekend on‑call Pay: $22.00 – $23.00; merit‑based increases Reports To: Maintenance Director, Administrator About Weatherly Inn

We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Assistant to support our facilities team in maintaining a safe, clean, and functional environment. This hands‑on role involves general building maintenance, and assisting the Maintenance Director with daily operations.

• Perform general building maintenance: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire safety systems
• Complete and document work orders as assigned, reporting issues to supervisor
• Painting, drywall repair, room turn work
• Assist and learn from Maintenance Director in managing facilities
• Be available for on‑call duties, including evenings and weekends
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

• GED or High School diploma preferred
• 1+ year of experience with facility maintenance, building systems, or landscaping preferred
• WA State Driver License with clean record
• Proficient with power tools and general repair/maintenance skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions

• Lift up to 50 lbs; push 250 lb residents or carts
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, and perform repetitive arm/hand movements
