Job Overview

ParkX Porter maintains cleanliness in common areas at assigned sites. Duties include pressure washing, window cleaning, trash removal, routine cleaning, event setup/cleanup, and responding to cleanliness concerns. The role requires reliability, attention to detail, professional and courteous interaction with property staff, tenants and visitors.

• Ensure all common areas including sidewalks, lobbies, restrooms, and public spaces are kept clean and presentable.
• Complete daily cleaning and janitorial tasks as assigned by the Senior Operations Manager.
• Pressure wash areas as directed.
• Wear approved ParkX Porter uniform and arrive at assigned location before shift starts.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and cleaning standards.
• Exhibit a professional and courteous demeanor with all site visitors.
• Greet and interact professionally with property staff and guests.
• Aid management teams with special cleaning or maintenance requests.
• Maintain neat and orderly janitorial closet and storage areas.
• Complete end‑of‑shift documentation and transfer responsibilities.
• Assist with setup and breakdown for events or public gatherings.
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and use chemicals safely.
• Notify management of any situations requiring attention.
• Follow cleaning schedules and checklists accurately.
• Document and report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or damages.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and neat work environment.
• Attend team meetings that impact janitorial operations.
• Carry out maintenance or cleaning tasks per company checklists.
• Fill in for coworkers during absences.
• Address and resolve cleanliness concerns promptly and consistently with ParkX guidelines.
• Maintain equipment through regular maintenance and preventative care.
• Report equipment damage to management.
• Be available for weekend and after hours work, especially during events or peak periods.
• Understand and promote corporate goals, core values, and departmental responsibilities.
• Comply with ParkX policies on call outs, time off, and timeliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license without major violations.
• Flexibility to work after hours and weekends for events.
