About the Position
Housekeeper – Full Time, 40 hrs., Academic Year. Salary: $33,133–$35,440 plus $3,200 shift differential.
Responsibilities- Clean and maintain all university buildings, including sweep, strip, dust, scrub, mop, wash, vacuum, polish, and wax floors, carpets, walls, windows, furniture, and equipment.
- Clean plumbing fixtures and dispose of trash, recyclables, and other wastes.
- Move or assist in moving office furniture and equipment as needed.
- Spray and fumigate for insects where directed.
- Provide washrooms with soap, paper products, and other supplies.
- Observe and report unusual situations on property and grounds.
- Clean sidewalks and perform lawn and garden maintenance; remove snow.
- Operate buffers, wet/dry vacuums, floor scrubbing machines, carpet extractors, and pressure washers.
- Wash and hang drapes, blinds; wash, dry, and fold towels.
- Collect, separate and dispose of recyclable materials.
- Set up equipment and conference rooms as requested.
- Report safety issues and maintenance needs.
- Change incandescent and fluorescent lights.
- Wash interior and exterior windows.
- Stock supply closets based on inventory needs.
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment after use.
- Working knowledge of cleaning equipment, materials, and procedures.
- Ability to understand and carry out simple directions.
- Education equivalent to completion of eight school grades.
- Experience performing basic cleaning and custodial tasks.

Friday: 11:30 am – 10:00 pm;
