Job SummaryThis position is a Field Service Installation Specialist responsible for constructing, repairing, testing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and installing state‑of‑the‑art RF Transmitter Systems and support equipment. The role primarily involves on‑site installation at overseas locations with up to 75% travel for extended stays.
Responsibilities- Perform difficult electronic or mechanical assembly operations in test or at a remote site environment where high versatility and skill are essential, occasionally in the absence of established procedures.
- Carry out all tasks required in the electronic or mechanical assembly and installation processes to take a product from initial stages through final assembly.
- Operate with premium skills, utilizing necessary tools and equipment to ensure maximum product quality on complex assemblies.
- Interpret schematics, engineering drawings, and wire lists; communicate clearly with Engineering and Mechanical Design when clarification or error resolution is needed.
- Assemble equipment, align components, adjust, and calibrate the electro/mechanical portions of complex equipment.

- Report quality problems or defects to the manager or senior management for corrective action and to prevent recurrence.
- Accept that duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet business needs.
- Five years of related assembly experience.
- Thorough knowledge of assembly techniques and tools, with an understanding of assembly theory.
- Strong mathematical ability and the ability to read and understand schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Active DoD issued Secret Clearance.
- Ability to achieve varying degrees of precision and control in work, where damage or scrap could be substantial.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with project teams, management, and customers.
- Perform system wiring using wire lists and schematics.
- Take verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
- Associate degree or high school diploma/equivalent.
- AutoCAD proficiency.

Work continuously to improve departmental operations.
Working ConditionsThis position works in a production and customer site environment with a risk of injury. Some safety equipment must be worn when working with equipment. Bending, lifting, and pushing up to 70 pounds is required.
TravelUp to 75% travel.
BenefitsPay may range from $39.00 to $45.00 hourly. Base salary is one component of total rewards.
