The Maintenance Technician will perform basic repair and preventive maintenance on machining and mechanical equipment related to manufacturing areas or electrical facilities following detailed and specific instructions, under limited supervision.

• Performs routine preventive maintenance tasks on machine tools and other manufacturing and building equipment.
• Makes simple mechanical repairs to machines of relatively limited complexity according to specific instructions.
• Performs mechanical troubleshooting and develops skill and knowledge in various maintenance areas.
• May perform a limited variety of tasks in the installation, maintenance, and repair of simple electrical facilities.
• Cleans and lubricates machines, bearings, jibs, etc., removes and replaces expandable items (e.g. belts, filters) on machinery and equipment.
• May assist in basic repairs and preventive maintenance for other skilled areas such as electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or facilities painting.
• Leads a team of maintenance employees on large projects. Assign tasks and mentor junior staff.
• Manage preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to prevent equipment downtime. Order parts and maintain inventory of common repair parts.

• It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem
• Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business

• 4+ years of general mechanical maintenance experience
• Must have the ability to read and interpret prints and schematics
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• HVAC experience/license and welding experience is preferred

Pay may range from $34.00 to $37.00 hourly

The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.

Base salary is one component of your total rewards package.
