Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician to support reliable operations at a high-availability commercial property. In this role, you will monitor and maintain electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to alarms and incidents to minimize downtime. You will assist with system testing, support vendors, follow strict safety and compliance procedures, and document all activities.

This position offers exposure to complex building systems, client-facing work, and growth opportunities within a global real estate leader.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, operate, and maintain critical building systems, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC infrastructure for data centers and essential facilities.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on power, cooling, and life-safety systems to ensure maximum uptime.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and service requests, troubleshooting issues to restore operations quickly and safely.
  • Follow standardized operating procedures, safety protocols, and compliance requirements, including documentation of all work performed.
  • Support vendors and contractors on-site, coordinating access, escorts, and quality checks for critical maintenance activities.
  • Assist with capacity planning, system upgrades, and equipment testing, including load bank and emergency power system tests.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports using digital tools and CMMS platforms.
  • Collaborate with property, engineering, and project teams to support client requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.
