What You’ll Do

As a Residential Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a vital role in preserving the quality and appearance of our community by responding to maintenance requests and completing preventative maintenance tasks before small issues become larger problems.

  • Completing maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
  • Performing general repairs, including light carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting work
  • Assisting with HVAC maintenance and repairs
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of community amenities, including the pool, clubhouse, and common areas
  • Conducting routine inspections to identify and address maintenance concerns
  • Supporting property safety initiatives and helping maintain a safe environment for residents and team members
  • Providing excellent customer service while interacting with residents and vendors

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of relevant maintenance experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must maintain a personal tool kit necessary for completing work orders
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software

Preferred

  • Experience in residential or commercial property maintenance
  • General handyman experience, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting
  • Experience maintaining and repairing HVAC systems
Schedule & Work Environment
  • Full‑time position
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Participation in an on‑call rotation for after‑hours maintenance emergencies
  • Occasional weekend work may be required
  • Periodic travel around the property and occasional off‑site supply runs
  • This role requires working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and includes physical activities such as standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting materials, and using hand and power tools.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to safely use tools, equipment, and maintenance materials
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work in a variety of environments and weather conditions
