As a residential Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for ongoing facility maintenance and repairs to keep the company’s multifamily property operating and appearing at its best.
Key responsibilities include:
- Address work orders using 3+ years of residential or hospitality maintenance experience.
- Perform light carpentry, minor electrical or plumbing repairs, and HVAC system maintenance.
- Proactively address routine maintenance and cleanliness of property, including resident amenities such as pool and clubhouse.
- Engage with residents in a friendly, efficient manner.
- Maintain a safety‑first approach, ensuring a safe environment for staff and residents.
Required skills and abilities
- High school diploma or GED. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in property management or hospitality.
- Experience in general building maintenance, painting, light carpentry, electrical or plumbing.
- Experience maintaining and repairing HVAC systems.
- Own tools and a valid driver’s license.
- At least 18 years old.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, organization, time management, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Commitment to safety, integrity, and respect for residents.
- Work hours:
Monday–Friday 8:00AM–5:00PM, with occasional on‑call hours and weekends. - Lift up to 25lb frequently; up to 50lb occasionally.
- Stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed; able to manipulate tools and equipment.
- Medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
- 401(k) auto‑enrollment after 60 days.
- 40 vacation hours in first year.
- Paid sick leave per state requirements.
- Holiday pay for 6 holidays per year for eligible employees (90 days service and required days).
