This role oversees preventative and corrective maintenance for CNC machines, fabrication equipment, and facility systems to ensure maximum uptime and safety. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling work, managing a maintenance team and vendors, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, maintaining spare parts inventory, and driving continuous improvement.
The Maintenance Manager supports a culture of craftsmanship, safety, quality, and on-the-job learning while supporting advanced, custom manufacturing projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise maintenance technicians in a manufacturing facility
- Plan, schedule, and prioritize preventative and corrective maintenance
- Maintain and repair CNC machines, fabrication equipment, and facility systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
- Manage maintenance budgets, vendors, and service contracts
- Maintain spare parts inventory and maintenance records/CMMSEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment uptime
- Coordinate maintenance support for custom, complex manufacturing projects
- Train and mentor team members to build technical skills and safety awareness
