Position OverviewWhether you’re looking for an opportunity to break into the construction industry, or looking for the next step in your career, our team can provide you with a fun and challenging opportunity to grow with an industry leader. In this role, you’ll help to repair a variety of construction equipment including trucks, trailers, batch plants, conveyor systems & more! You’ll learn the inner working of each piece of equipment, become an expert at what you do and expand your skillset by working on new equipment each day.

Wage: $26-$33/hr DOE with potential for overtime
Shift: Swing Shift, 2:00PM - 10:30PM, M-F

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)Analyzes malfunctions and repairs, rebuilds, and maintains equipment.
Safely operates and inspects machines or equipment to diagnose defects.
Dismantles and reassembles equipment, using hoists and hand tools.
Examines parts for damage or excessive wear, using micrometers and gauges.
Replaces defective engines and subassemblies, such as transmissions.
Tests overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiency (must be able to operate all equipment).
Welds broken parts and structural members.
May direct workers engaged in cleaning parts and assisting with assembly and disassembly of equipment.
Should have skills in basic fabrication.
Perform record keeping of time and parts used on the appropriate forms.
Perform general cleaning of work areas and maintenance areas.
Assist other maintenance department staff in performing the duties necessary to assure the efficiency of operations of vehicles.
Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions.
Promptly communicate with supervisors on any flaws in material.
Regular and timely attendance.
Participate in and promote an inclusive environment.
QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Minimum QualificationsMust have good depth perception and coordination to operate machine controls.
Must pass pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment controlled substance testing.
Safety minded professional who demonstrates good performance and attendance.
Demonstrates the ability to work independently, without direct supervision.
Demonstrates a willingness to work overtime and weekends/holidays.
Demonstrates ability to work and communicate well with supervisors, truck drivers, heavy equipment operators and other employees.
Demonstrates the ability to conform to and maintain OSHA, MSHA, DOT and all other company or state rules and regulations.
