We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences through delicious and well-presented dishes. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will contribute to the overall success of our kitchen operations.
This is a hands-on leadership position in a fast-paced, standards-driven kitchen. You’ll be involved in:
- Leading, training, and developing the kitchen team
- Maintaining consistency, systems, and execution
- Supporting menu execution and refinement with the head chef
- Daily operations, ordering, prep systems, and cost awareness

- Head Chef positions
- Multi-unit or opening-team leadership
- Long-term growth within the company
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and storage areas.
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain food safety standards.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
- Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
- Previous experience in a full service casual premium restaurant.
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety practices within the food industry.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen setting.
- A passion for cooking and a desire to learn new skills within the culinary field.
