HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Manager in the Food & Beverage Manufacturing industry in Richmond, IN!
Salary: $100,000-$130,000/year + 10% Bonus

About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations in a high-volume food and beverage manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for driving equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, employee development, and continuous improvement while ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of the facility.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the maintenance team to ensure reliable operation of plant equipment and facility systems
- Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and extend asset life
- Ensure maintenance activities are properly planned and scheduled using the CMMS to maximize labor efficiency and equipment availability
- Monitor equipment performance and implement strategies to improve uptime, productivity, and maintenance effectiveness
- Serve as the primary point of contact for emergency maintenance issues and critical equipment failures
- Partner with Engineering and Operations to identify equipment upgrades, process improvements, and capital projects
- Evaluate new equipment proposals and provide recommendations based on cost, reliability, and operational impact
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance supplies to support efficient plant operations while controlling costs
- Develop and monitor maintenance budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support capital planning initiatives
- Establish maintenance procedures, best practices, and performance standards that support world-class maintenance operations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, food safety standards, GMPs, environmental requirements, and company policies
- Lead hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and employee development while fostering a strong safety and continuous improvement culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and maintenance leadership experience
- 5+ years of maintenance, mechanical engineering, or industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
- Previous leadership or management experience leading maintenance teams
- Food and beverage manufacturing experience preferred; dairy manufacturing experience is a plus
- Experience developing and managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Knowledge of CMMS systems, maintenance planning, and maintenance best practices
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, utilities, and facility systems
- Experience managing maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and capital improvement projects
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Technical certifications in electrical, welding, refrigeration, boilers, wastewater, plumbing, or related trades are a plus
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
