BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated HP Indigo Field Service Engineer in Louisville KY.

Expected Duration: 2‑year contract with a strong possibility of extension
Job Type: Contract (40 hours per week), onsite
Pay Range: $30/hr – $34/hr
Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, and responsibilities and does not include additional non‑standard compensation such as benefits, paid time off, or per diem.
Responsibilities- Provide onsite field service to diagnose and repair HP Indigo digital printing presses and related equipment.
- Perform remote support when appropriate.
- Communicate effectively with customers, documenting time, notes, assignments, and status updates.
- Service and maintain two Series 3 HP Indigo Presses and a Kurz DM Jetliner UV Inkjet module.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues with HP Indigo digital presses.
- Maintain parts and consumable supplies for the digital press department and order necessary items.
- Manage inventory of substrates, ensuring sufficient stock for specialty orders and maintaining adequate supplies of frequently used substrates.
- Calculate run time and substrate quantity required for longer custom print jobs.
- Train and mentor new HP Indigo operators.
• Experience with HP Indigo field service, including mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Strong technical skills and ability to resolve customer-relation issues.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage dispatched calls and documentation.
