Purpose

The Supply Yard Coordinator must be a self‑motivated, honest worker that can effectively manage themselves. The Supply Yard Coordinator will provide seasonal services such as cleaning the yard, organizing, and cleaning equipment/supply storage, basic interior/exterior facility maintenance, maintain grounds and assist mechanics as needed. The Yard Technician is a part time position that reports directly to the Fleet/Shop Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Overall maintenance of yard, ensuring yard is clean, efficiently organized, and functional.
  • Maintain and clean dumpster and bulk material storage areas.
  • Reorganize equipment/supplies and return to their original home.
  • Keep sea containers, PVC racks, hose bins, wash out stations, all company bays, etc. cleaned and organized.
  • Wash and detail equipment and trucks left on property during the day.
  • Change furnace air filters quarterly and any other miscellaneous facility maintenance task as assigned.
  • Receive and process delivery of bulk materials.
  • Set aside “orders” placed by foreman in the field in the correct areas for efficient pick up the next day.
  • Assist mechanics with miscellaneous tasks as needed.
  • Manage the dump area.
  • May perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required Licenses, Certifications and Registrations:

  • Clean and valid driver license is required.

Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

(KSA):

  • Ability to run a loader and skid steer.
  • Ability to pass background and drug screening.

Physical, Mental and Visual Demands:

  • Pushing or pulling of various landscaping equipment and materials, including, but not limited to, various sizes of lawnmowers, backpack blowers, large containers of mulch or plant materials, etc.
  • Safely operate hand and power equipment.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds using proper body mechanics.
  • Push, pull, grip, and squeeze various tools, products and/or items.

Working Conditions:

  • Schedule subject to change based on seasonal needs. Occasional Saturdays may be required during the peak season.
  • Work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, precipitation).
  • Noise level may be loud at times and use of ear protection may be required.
Compensation
  • $20-$24 per hour
