Provide maintenance support to ensure continuous line production.

SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Team Leader assists the Maintenance Team Manager in coordinating assignments, establishing priorities, and recommending improvements. The Team Leader reports problems to the Maintenance Team Manager for direction and guidance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

1. Assists in the management of all plant preventative maintenance programs, including coordination, scheduling, and verification of completion in the following areas:

b. Plant support equipment (i.e. boilers, compressors, fuel, water, oil, electrical systems)

c. Lift equipment including forklifts and hand trucks.

2. Building and grounds maintenance, including: heating, cooling, and building integrity.

3. Assists in the completion/closing of all projects on time and at budget.

4. Assists in the management of the spare parts inventory including accurate parts identification, storage/organization, and replenishment.

5. Demonstrate a consistently positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous, and professional attitude as well as behaviors consistent with support of successful, cost efficient, and customer-oriented operation of the Richmond plant.

6. Demonstrates “leadership by example” with high ethical standards.

7. Excellent interpersonal skills including: (a) ability to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions: (b) can get along with co-workers or peers without exhibiting behavioral extremes; (c) perform work activities requiring assistance in negotiating, instructing, persuading, or speaking with others; (d) respond appropriately to criticism from managers and peers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• · High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• · Two (2) or more years of industrial maintenance experience is required.
• · Maintenance Class B or C required.
• · Ability to work independently in fast paced position requiring detailed exacting compliance.
