Salary: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour (depending on education and experience)
Role SummaryThe Onsite Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance of buildings and grounds at HOA residential communities, under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.
Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance and routine maintenance
- Process incoming requests in the system and follow up as needed
- Ensure completion of work orders using the work order system
- General maintenance, janitorial and grounds work throughout the Community Associations
- Periodic inspections of grounds, common area buildings and structures
- Advising supervisor of needed repairs, improvements and safety issues
- Proficient in Carpentry, Concrete, Doors, Drywall, Fencing, Cleaning, Gutters, Locks, Plumbing and Painting
- 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred
- Experience with Carpentry, Concrete, Doors, Drywall, Fencing, Plumbing and Painting required
- Experience with Cleaning, Locks and Gutters highly desired
- Must be able to speak, read and write English. Bilingual a plus
- Must be a proficient problem-solver
- Must know how to use tools, supplies, materials, chemicals safely
- Experience and skills with simple electric maintenance is a plus, but not necessary
- Pool maintenance experience is a plus, but not necessary
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach frequently
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier with assistance
- Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely
- Visual acuity to inspect equipment, read gauges, and perform detailed tasks
- Hearing ability to detect alarms, equipment sounds, and verbal instructions in noisy environments
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise, outdoors)
- Ability to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, on-call, and overtime as required
Salary: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour (depending on experience)
