Seasonal Commercial Mower
We're looking for someone who knows commercial mowing-not someone who simply knows how to drive a mower. The right candidate has experience operating commercial-grade mowing equipment and can keep it running. If you have experience replacing belts, changing blades, performing oil changes, diagnosing common mower problems, and minimizing downtime in the field, we'd like to talk with you. This is a four-week commercial vegetation management project servicing utilities and energy facilities throughout Oregon.
Operate commercial zero-turn and rear-engine riding mowers.
Perform routine equipment maintenance, including blade changes, belt replacement, oil changes, and daily inspections.
Troubleshoot and repair common commercial mower issues in the field.
Tow equipment trailers safely.
Communicate professionally with plant personnel and PMG management.
Help keep projects on schedule while maintaining PMG's safety and quality standards.
Must be at least 18 years old
2+ years of commercial mowing experience.
Mechanical aptitude with commercial mowing equipment.
Experience towing trailers.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, kneel, etc.
$20.00–$25.00/hour (DOE)
