The Receiving Specialist is responsible for managing the flow of incoming goods and ensuring accurate verification and documentation of all materials entering the facility. This role utilizes automated systems to process and track shipments, researches and resolves discrepancies in a timely manner, and maintains accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments. The Receiving Specialist also ensures that all incoming packages are delivered to the correct location.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, unpack, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Process and track shipments using automated systems.
- Research and resolve packages received without corresponding purchase orders.
- Accurately record all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Deliver incoming packages to the appropriate department or personnel promptly.
- Assist with shipping functions as needed.
- Maintain organized documentation for inventory tracking and auditing purposes.
- Communicate professionally with supply chain partners, vendors, and internal teams regarding order discrepancies and shipment status.
- Must arrange and be responsible for personal parking, as there is no on-site parking available.
- Interviews will be conducted in person.
- This role requires regular interaction with supply chain partners; excellent communication skills and professionalism are essential.
- Regularly lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
