Are you someone seeking a position with independent and solitary working conditions, with stable hours and pay? We are seeking enthusiastic, friendly, and caring employees to provide janitorial services and janitorial supervision for our clients’ offices in the Richmond area.

Pay: $18/hr
Hours:
During Game and Post Game Cleaning roles available (Home Games ONLY)
Shifts scheduled for approximately 4 hours each.
We are searching for dependable, enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join the Service Master Event Cleaning Team. In these roles, you will ensure that event spaces remain clean, organized and well-maintained throughout various events, including sporting events, concerts and other special occasions. Our team's work will help ensure a welcoming atmosphere for guests by maintaining cleanliness before, during and after events.
Key Responsibilities- During Event Support - Maintain cleanliness throughout the event, including clearing away trash, wiping surfaces, restocking restrooms and assisting with spills or other immediate needs as they arise. In addition, our teammates will gladly assist fans with information, direction or whatever we can do to be helpful and maximize their experience. Our during game teammates will remain poised to respond quickly and enthusiastically to any immediate needs of the Squirrel’s staff and their fans.
- Post Event Tear Down Cleaning - Perform thorough post-event cleaning, including removing and disposing of trash/recycle, cleaning restrooms/club houses, suites, meeting rooms to include sweeping, mopping, wiping, vacuuming and ensuring that the venue is restored to its original condition.
- Waste Management - Collect and properly dispose of all waste and recycling generated during the event, ensuring that all designated waste collection areas are kept clean and organized.
- Equipment handling - Use cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, brooms, power washers, scrubbers, etc. in a safe and efficient manner.
- Communication - Coordinate with Event Manager and/or Supervisors to promptly address any urgent cleaning needs and maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the event.
- Experience - Prior experience in custodial or event cleaning is a plus, but not a requirement. Training is provided.
- Physical Requirements - Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift throughout the shift and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Professionalism - Punctual, reliable and able to maintain a friendly, courteous and professional demeanor around guests, RFS staff members and peers.
- Attention to detail - Strong focus on maintaining a clean and welcoming environment designed to maximize fan experience.
- Flexibility - Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays based on event needs.
- Team Player - Ability to excel in a team environment helping one another achieve goals.
