Wall Repair & Painting

• Drywall Repair:
  Sand the patched hole flush with 220-grit sandpaper, feathering edges for a seamless blend. Apply one coat of drywall primer, then replicate the surrounding wall texture.
• Painting Coverage:
  For ~900 sq. ft. of floor space, expect 1,000 to 1,200 sq. ft. of paintable wall surface. Apply two coats of durable, washable satin or semi-gloss paint.
• Material Estimate:
  Purchase 6 gallons of paint (covers two full coats) and 1 gallon of drywall primer.

• Kennel Structure:
  Strip out all loose hair and debris. Soak and scrub removable trays using a pet-safe, enzymatic cleaner to eliminate odors. Scrub down all wire bars, gates, and latches.
• Wall Wash-Down:
  Pre-treat organic matter (saliva, nose prints) with enzyme spray. Hand-wash walls from the floor up to a height of 4 feet using non-toxic disinfectant. Deep clean the crevices where the kennel base meets the floorboards.

• High Areas:
  Clear cobwebs from ceilings and hand-wipe light fixtures and fans.
• Windows & Trim:
  Vacuum out window tracks, squeegee interior glass, and hand-wash all baseboards to remove scuff marks.
• Kitchen & Bath:
  Degrease kitchen cabinet fronts. Scrub bathroom tile, grout, and fixtures to remove heavy soap scum and mineral deposits.

• Floors:
  Vacuum carpets and damp-mop hard floors weekly using pet-safe cleaners.
• Surfaces:
  Daily wipe-downs of high-touch countertops, tables, and desks. Weekly dusting of electronics and shelving.
• Waste:
  Empty all trash bins, sanitize the cans, and replace liners regularly.
