Richmond Raceway Maintenance Position

Richmond Raceway is America's Premier Short Track, founded in 1946. The venue annually hosts two NASCAR race weekends, featuring the NASCAR Cup Series and either NASCAR Xfinity Series or NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, as well as a Whelan Modified Series race on the iconic ¾-mile D-shaped oval. Richmond Raceway is a regional leader for events including sports, live music, and consumer trade shows.

The Richmond Raceway Complex's 1,100 plus acre multipurpose facility hosts more than 200 live events over 280 event days annually, including concerts with top national recording artists at Virginia Credit Union LIVE!, the region's only covered amphitheater.

Richmond Raceway seeks motivated individuals to join our Maintenance team. This is a seasonal position to assist the team in preparing the facility and grounds for events and to maintain and improve the overall condition of the buildings and grounds.

• General building and grounds maintenance and upkeep. Such as cleaning, power washing, garbage removal in buildings and common areas, mowing, weed whipping, tree trimming, landscaping, painting, and event setup.
• Operate hand and power tools, tractors, carts, heavy equipment, and vehicles.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Cleaning and trash removal of office buildings, houses, suite buildings, etc.
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking restrooms.
• Operate hand and power tools, carts and vehicles.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Sign maintenance and installation, vinyl application and installation of large banners.
• Painting ground graphics and walls and buildings.
• Setup and installation of tents, tables, chairs, and other equipment for events.
• Operate forklifts and boom lifts is preferred.
• Operate hand and power tools, tractors, carts, heavy equipment, and vehicles.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to work overtime including some evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather elements.
• Frequently lifting and carrying objects/material up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
