M – F 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (25 hours per week)

• Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms; cleans sinks and toilets, polishes mirrors, and replenishes supplies.
• Performs routine building maintenance activities; performs minor plumbing repairs required by leaking faucets and clogged toilets; performs carpentry work required to repair dents and/or holes in walls and paints walls.
• May request purchase order for supplies.
• Sweeps, vacuums, mops, buffs and waxes floors; keeps sidewalks clean and free of debris.
• Assists the Facilities and Property Manager with major, more complex repairs and maintenance.
• Drives vehicle to pick up materials and repair items needed for maintenance work.

• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects.
• Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.
• Work is performed in a shelter facility where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
• Work requires driving a vehicle and working outdoors daily with exposure to physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or other outdoor conditions.
